Felshaw King is an experienced, full-time attorney who has practiced law for many years, primarily in the areas of municipal law, business law and estate planning. He received his law degree from the University of Utah and he received a certificate in dispute resolution from the University of Utah in 2001. Throughout his years in practice, he has held many leadership positions. Currently, he is a member of the Utah State Bar Commission.
His Legal Experience
Mr. King has served as managing partner of King & King since 1962. He serves as legal counsel to the city manager, city council, and other committees for the cities of Kaysville, West Point and Sunset. He also serves as legal counsel for the North Davis Sewer District.
King prepares and reviews legal documents on all civil matters and prepares written legal opinions. He reviews all city ordinances, contracts, land transactions, etc. and he defends cities in legal actions and negotiates settlements.
Scott B. Dopp serves as the Kaysville City Prosecutor and Sunset City prosecutor, prosecuting misdemeanor criminal violations in the Davis County Justice Court and Sunset City Justice Court. His legal practice focuses on estate planning and business law.
He has been an associate at King & King since 2000. He serves as associate legal counsel to the city manager, city council and other committees for the cities of Kaysville, West Point, and Sunset.
Mr. Dopp enjoys meeting with people to learn about their families and to help them in creating a personal estate plan. He serves as a regular guest lecturer and trainer to area businesses on estate planning.
